CLAY - COMMUNITY - CREATIVITY
I’m a Missoula, Montana-based artist whose work is infused with whimsy and a deep love for the natural world. Often inspired by wildlife, my pieces invite connection through playful forms and earthy textures. I’m especially drawn to the collaborative, hands-on nature of woodfiring, where hard work, teamwork, and the unpredictable beauty of the process come together in surprising and satisfying ways. It’s messy and dynamic, just the way I like it.
Outside of my home studio, I serve as the Executive Director of the Missoula Urban Demonstration Project (MUD), where I help put tools and sustainable living skills into the hands of Missoulians. I also serve on the Board of the Clay Studio of Missoula, the local organization that first sparked my passion for ceramics.
Most importantly, I’m a proud mother to two stellar boys and the wife of a brilliant and creative man, my greatest sources of joy.
Whether shaping clay or building community, I try to bring humor, creativity, and warmth to everything I do.
